Gloves

Most footballers will tell you that you have to be 'different' to be a goalkeeper, that you need something special, a unique quality. But the truth is, most goalkeepers are just complete fruitcakes.

In Gloves we follow lower league goalkeeper Peter Glover in the twilight of his career, as the ageing goalkeeper faces the inevitable battle against both younger rivals, and his own ageing limbs.

The writers and producers of Gloves are not lifelong film makers, but comedy writers and performers. Gloves was born out of a desire to deliver their comedy writing as finished product, rather than a script, and increase the visibility of their work, thus the idea for a short film entitled 'Gloves' was born.
